I was digging around...well digg.com today, and I stumbled upon this posting from yesterday. Recently I've lost a lot of weight (since April nearly 50 lbs), and I used to be a big Coke and Pepsi drinker (not to mention my share of coffee as well). Since April, I have had exactly 1 accidental sip of Coke, mistakenly served to me in a restaurant, and I knew it immediately. This article seems to have the answer as to what having Coke does internally to you. No one was ever saying that Coke was health food or anything, but certainly, this more than verifies it.
